The ‘Uncategorized’ Blog Category
It’s all well and good having a beautiful all-singing all-dancing website, but does it actually achieve what you intended it to do? The visual design of your website is crucially important, it’s the first impression a visitor receives of your company. If it looks unprofessional, has mistakes or is incoherent with your brand then people aren’t going to hang around for long. When we’re developing a new website for a client one of the first things we do is to establish who the target audience are, and what the customer wants the website to achieve. With some brainstorming and research we then identify what design theme, elements and features would help to inspire confidence and provide an excellent user experience.
This post has been long in the making, however I wanted to wait until our new blog was launched so it forever features on our new website. Basically this isn’t one of our normal web design themed blog posts, but the purpose of this post is basically to say a big THANK YOU to all of our amazing clients that put their hands in their pockets to sponsor me in September 2013. For all of you that aren’t aware I signed up to run the Great North Run, a half-marathon around Newcastle in the UK. I had chosen to raise money for the well-known children’s charity, the NSPCC, and had pledged to raise £400 for their good causes.
It’s been a while in the making, but we thought it was about time we refreshed our own website to reflect our current experience and project portfolio. We’ve created a whole new brand identity that is more in line with our core business and the work that we love. The new portfolio system also hopefully does justice to presenting the projects we have completed in quite an innovative way.
